Payroll FAQ

How do I submit my timesheet?

  • Timesheets are to be left in the school office and are collected the 20th of each month.
  • I have finished my Coaching season, how do I get my stipend?
    • Stipends must be requested  by completing the Stipend Request form with a summary of the season dates and coaching duties.  Send them to your site Administrator for approval.
  • When is my timesheet paid?
    • Pay periods are the 21st to the 20th and are paid on the 10th of the month following the pay period.
  • How do I set up or change direct deposit?
    • The completed Direct Deposit form and a voided check or bank document including the routing and account number must be submitted to Payroll no later than the 20th of the month to be effective on the next payroll. 
  • I elected to have my direct deposit notices emailed to me but it request a password to open it, what's the password?
    • Direct deposit notices are password protected pdf attachments, the PIN is the last 4 digits of your social security number.
  • Can I change my tax withholdings?
    • Tax withholdings can be changed at any time, submit the appropriate tax form (W4 or DE4) to Payroll no later than the 20th of the month to be effective on the next payroll.
  • Can I pick up my check?
    • Paychecks and direct deposit notices are mailed the day prior to pay day, we do not allow pick up. 
  • Do I have sick leave?
    • All employees are eligible for sick leave.  Please contact your HR/Payroll team for details.

Where do I report and at what time?

Delta Charter High 31400 S. Koster Road, Tracy, CA (209) 830-6363: 

  • Report to work at 8:30, class begins at 8:55
  • Park in the gravel lot at the corner of Durham Ferry and Koster Road. 
  • Report to the large tan building with the marquee sign out front. 
  • You will speak with Clorinda Hawn to get your key, badge, roster and lesson plans (roster and lesson plan may be in the classroom). 
  • There is a lunch area in the back of the office you may use to enjoy your lunch.
  • Classes end at 4:10 (12:55 on minimum day Wednesday)

Delta Charter Elementary 1301 Durham Ferry Road, Tracy, CA (209) 830-7167:

  • Report to work at 8:00, class begins at 8:20
  • Park in the gravel lot at the corner of Durham Ferry and Koster Road. 
  • Report to the second building across Durham Ferry from the Fire Station, DCO1. 
  • You will speak with Lisa Cosme to get your key, badge, roster and lesson plans (roster and lesson plan may be in the classroom). 
  • There is a lunch area in the office you may use to enjoy your lunch.
  • Classes end at 2:45 (1:35 on minimum day Friday)

New Jerusalem Elementary 31400 S. Koster Road, Tracy, CA (209) 835-2597:

  • Report to work at 8:00, class begins at 8:20
  • Park in the gravel lot at the corner of Durham Ferry and Koster Road. 
  • Report to the Office in the red brick building. 
  • You will speak with June Gray to get your key, badge, roster and lesson plans (roster and lesson plan may be in the classroom). 
  • There is a lunch area in the gym/cafeteria you may use to enjoy your lunch.
  • Classes end at 2:45 (1:35 on minimum day Friday)

Delta Bridges School 703 E. Swain Road, Stockton, CA (on corner of Swain and Kermit) (209) 830-9219:

  • Report to work at 8:00, class begins at 8:15
  • Park in the Church parking lot on Kermit Lane. 
  • Report to the building behind the church (there's a fence/gate with a doorbell to notify office). 
  • You will speak with Irene Uribe to get your key, badge, roster and lesson plans (roster and lesson plan may be in the classroom). 
  • There is a lunch area in the gym you may use to enjoy your lunch.
  • Classes end at 3:10 (1:35 on minimum day Friday)

Where do I get a timesheet?

Timesheets are available in every school office and also on the Business Services page at njesd.net

What do I do with my timesheet at the end of the day?

Timesheets should be left in the school office and used again if you return during that pay period.

What are the pay periods and pay days?

Pay periods run the 21st through the 20th.  You are paid the 10th of the month following the end of the pay period.

How do I set up or change direct deposit?

You must submit a direct deposit form along with bank documentation (voided check) to the payroll department no later than the 20th of the month for the direct deposit to be effective on the next payday.  Checks and direct deposit notices will be mailed to your home address on file the day before pay day.

How do I open the email direct deposit notice?

If you have elected to have your direct deposit notice emailed to you, the PIN to open the attachment is the last 4 digits of your SSN.

Can I change my tax withholdings?

You may change your tax withholding status any month, again it must be submitted to payroll no later than the 20th of the month.  Forms for State and Federal tax withholding are available on the Business Services page at njesd.net.

Do I have disability insurance?

No, we do not participate in the State Disability Insurance program.

Can I get health insurance?

We offer health insurance to all of our employees, please see Angelia in HR for the plans and rates.

What do I do if I get injured at work?

Report any injury immediately to the school office and contact Angelia in HR to complete the workers compensation claim.

Do I have sick leave?

As a Substitute employee you are entitled to earn one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked.  You began earning sick hours from the first day of work.  As such an employee, you may begin to use earned sick hours on the 90th day of your employment, after which you may use the sick hours as they are accrued.   Please contact Trudy in Payroll to request sick leave pay.

Open Enrollment for Benefits

Open Enrollment for Insurance plans and Flexible Spending plans is August 7th through August 31st.

 

 

If you are eligible for District paid cap on insurance, you must make any plan changes you wish prior to August 31, 2018.
