Food Services

Welcome to the Cafeteria of NJESD
The Food Service Department is committed to providing nutritious and balanced meals according to the USDA dietary guidelines to support the well-being of our students. We strive to promote healthy lifestyle habits and ability to learn. Through continuous innovation, the Food Services Department plays a vital role in the overall educational experience to support our school districts mission. We participate in Universal Free Meals through the implementation of the National School Lunch Program, National School Breakfast Program, and After School Supplement Program. We are thankful to be located in the heart of the valley so that we can provide a variety of fresh and local produce daily.
Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)
The New Jerusalem Elementary School District is participating in the Community Eligibility Provision under the National School Lunch Program beginning the 2024/2025 school year. The CEP is directed toward schools with a high percentage of economically disadvantaged students. Under the CEP all students receive a breakfast/lunch at no charge for the entire school year. However, to determine eligibility to receive additional benefits for your students’ school, we are asking our families to complete a Household Income Form. The New Jerusalem Elementary School District is pleased to announce the availability of submitting the Household Income Form online! Parents and guardians are encouraged to fill out a Household Income Form using our fast and easy online form found at www.familyincomesurvey.com. Account creation is not required. A parent or guardian can submit an income survey within minutes, from any device that can access the internet. This site is available in both Spanish and English. Your privacy is important to us, so your information is kept confidential. We appreciate your support in helping our students receive the resources they need.
